Welcome to the Cherwell Archers!

The Cherwell Archers meet on Monday evenings during the summer at 17h30 at the University Club's sports grounds on Mansfield Road [view map] weather permitting.

The Club usually starts shooting at the beginning of April and continues through until October. During the season, social events and competitions both within the club and with other archery clubs are held.

Word has just reached us that the Bampton shoot has been postponed a week (to Wednesday the 3rd of August) due to the possibility of rain.
Range Book
Please note that we now have a Range Book to record who participates on a Monday night shoot. Please would all members ensure that they, and any guests, sign in every time that they shoot.
Membership Details
As usual during the 2005 season we will be asking our members to update their membership during our Monday night shoots. All members should complete the membership form available from the Secretary or from the Range Book on Monday nights.

The Cherwell Archery Club is an active and popular sports section of the University of Oxford's University Club. As such, the Cherwell Archery Club is primarily for staff, postgraduates, alumni and retired staff of the University and associated institutions, but anyone is welcome to come along and try it out. There is a small charge to join the Cherwell Archers, but free trials and free tuition are given. There is a wide range of equipment for club members to use, but you are also welcome to bring your own.

If you are interested, please contact one of the following, or simply turn up on a Monday night!
